Delivery Genius Holdings LLC is a United States company building routing, dispatch and delivery-operations software for Direct Store Delivery — starting with packaged ice and bottled water. We are privately held, remote-first, and currently in development.
Why this, and why now
Enterprise logistics software was written for distribution centres and parcel networks. It assumes a stop is an address, a delivery is a box, and the driver is a courier. That is not a DSD business.
In ice and water, the stop is an account you have served for eleven years. There is equipment of yours on their floor. The driver knows the owner's name, takes the cheque, spots that the freezer is running warm, and is often the only person from your company that customer ever sees. The software these operators are offered either ignores all of that, or costs more than the routes it manages.
So most of them run on spreadsheets, whiteboards and one person's memory — and it works, right up until that person is on holiday.

Built with operators, not at them
Every part of this is shaped by people who actually run routes. When an operator tells us a screen is wrong, that is the most valuable thing that happens to us all week.
Nothing that pretends
A control that reports success without doing anything is worse than a missing one. If a feature is not finished, the software says so rather than showing a comforting green tick.
Undo is a feature
Dispatch is a working surface and people work quickly. Anything a dispatcher can do in a hurry, they can take back.
Your data is yours
Each company's data is isolated from every other company's, access follows a person's role, and what leaves the system leaves because you exported it.
